Parkersburg, WV - William Ernest Anderson, 66, of Parkersburg, WV passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born August 7, 1959 in Fairmont, WV to the late Franklin D. and Ellen M. Gripper Anderson.
William was a correctional officer serving 30 years, beginning at Moundsville State Penitentiary serving 5 years and 20 years at St. Mary's Correctional Center. He served 6 years in the Army and 12 years in the National Guard.
Left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Pamela Sue McCauley Anderson; his daughter, Linda Marie Anderson; son, William Ernest Anderson Jr.; his sisters, Neva Kay Nedley and Denna Faye Miller; special aunt, June Randall; special uncle, Tony Dibacco; and his buddies, John Anderson, Jackie Hoover, and Pat Runnion.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
