On Sunday, April 14, 2019, Susan H. Cain passed away at her home surrounded by family. She was born November 18, 1941 at Fairmont, WV, a daughter of the late Andrew L. and Katherine Arnett Henry. Susan graduated from West Fairmont High School in 1959. On November 24, 1961, at Chicago, IL, she married Edward Lee Cain who survives. A faithful Episcopalian, she served on the Alter Guild of Grace Episcopal Church of Elkins where she is a member. She was also a volunteer at Davis Memorial Hospital and was a member of the Davis Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed her time with Beta Sigma Pi Sorority. Susan loved talking to everyone, bowling and playing golf. Surviving along with her husband Ed is one son, Mark L. Cain and wife Suzanne and their son, Jared Mark Cain, all of Elkins and one daughter, Katherine S. Cain of Summersville, WV. Also preceding her in death was one brother, David A. Henry, sister-in-law Patty Henry, father-in-law Luther Cain, mother-in-law Kathleen Cain, brother-in-law James L. Cain and a special Niece, Kimberly Cain. Friends may call from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, April 18th at the Clermont Cemetery at White Hall, WV. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Susan H. Cain.
