Fairmont, WV - Shirley Jo Cimino, 89, of Fairmont passed away Friday, July 4, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Rosemont on June 6, 1936 daughter of the late Herbert and Hazel Jenkins.
She was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 52 years David L. Cimino and her daughter Holly Cimino of Meriden, Connecticut and son Clay Cimino of Fairmont. She is also survived by her brother-in-law James Cimino and sister-in-law Mariam Moroose and husband Mark of Fairmont, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her siblings Paul Jenkins, Betty Lou Sandy, Geraldine Godfrey, Wilma Stout, Herbert Jenkins, Jr. Judy Ann Ware, Bill Jenkins and Kenneth Jenkins.
Family and friends will be received at Ross Funeral Home 801 Fairmont Avenue Fairmont on Tuesday from 2-8:00 p.m. with a Vigil service at 7:30 p.m. The Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church 407 Jackson Street Fairmont with Fr. Joseph Konikattil as celebrant. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery
