Shinnston, West Virginia - Sherry Ann Toothman Summers, 72, of Shinnston passed away on October 27, 2019 at Mon General hospital following an extended battle of cancer. She was the daughter of Betty Jean O'Dell Toothman.

She is survived by her daughter Reneen Ann McIntire an her fiancé Brian Cochran of Worthington, WV; sons, Richard Summers and Verl Yost and his wife Lori all of NC; grandchildren, James McIntire and his companion Amber Ashcraft of Wallace, WV and Matthew McIntire and his companion Heather Horner of Worthington, WV; great-grandchildren, Emma, Isabella and Jaxon McIntire; special friend, Maria Gullickson of NC.

Sherry was preceded in death by her mother Betty Toothman; brother Charles Richard Toothman; grandparents, Finley and Myrtle O'Dell along with several Aunts and Uncles.

Sherry worked at a variety of jobs in her life but her most important was being a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Friends will be received at the Harmer Funeral Home 300 Pike Street Shinnston on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 2-8 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Kevin Nuzum presiding. Interment will follow at the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery.
