Ruby Jean Vincent, 90, of Pine Bluff Road and formerly of the Grassy Run Community, went to celebrate Christmas with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 25, 2022. She was born November 6, 1932 in Fairmont, the daughter of Samuel Earl and Mary Jo (Jenkins) Vincent..


She is survived by her brother Wellman Robey; sisters-in-law Sandra Vincent (Bob) and Anna Vincent (Kenneth), as well as many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Kenneth and Bob Vincent; sisters Delores Livingston, Aleda Vincent, and Nola Robey, and a nephew, Charles Livingston.


Ruby was a homemaker and was a caretaker to her parents for many years. She enjoyed search-a-word books and spending time outside. She was a Methodist by faith and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Shinnston.


Friends will be received at Harmer Funeral Home on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 10:00AM-2:00PM. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00PM with Buzzy Holbert officiating. Interment will follow at Vincent Cemetery.
