Barrackville, WV - Roger "Mole" Lee Starkey, Jr., 54, of Barrackville, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2025. He was born in Fairmont on September 12, 1971, a son of Dorothy Mae Greiger and Roger Lee Starkey.

Roger enjoyed telling stories (especially about fishing), fishing with his sons, and visiting his mother. He owned and operated Hooks and Charms in Barrackville. Roger never met a stranger.

In addition to his mother, Roger is survived by his fiancée, Chrissy Mays; Chrissy's father, Ron Mays, Sr., who Roger called Dad; his sons, Owen Starkey and Christopher Starkey; a brother, Jody Starkey; aunt, Connie Starkey; aunt, Lela Starkey; uncle, Michael Starkey and his wife Julia; and many aunts and uncles.

In addition to his father, Roger was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Boyd and Mary Starkey; maternal grandparents, James Sparks and Virginia Gorbey; uncle, Jeffrey Starkey; and aunt, Tina Starkey.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home - Curry Chapel, 100 Grant Street in Fairview, on Sunday, October 5, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and at the funeral home on Monday, October 6, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The service will be at the funeral home on Monday, October 6, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
