Robert Coffman Obituary

Robert Alan Coffman, 51, passed away on Sunday (Oct. 9, 2016) in Linden, Virginia.

He was born Feb. 11, 1965, in Fairmont, the son of the late Robert Arnold Coffman and Janet Cyphers Coffman of Fairmont.

He is also survived by his fiancée, Bethany Rosenberg of Linden, Virginia, and a uncle, Ronald Alan Cyphers and his wife Diane of Moatsville.

Robert graduated from East Fairmont High School in 1983. He furthered his education and currently was working on a master's degree. He worked as a computer operator for Frontier Communications.

When Robbie was young, he spent a lot of time with his grandfather and grandmother Cyphers. Along with his dad, Robbie enjoyed hunting and cheering on the West Virginia Mountaineers and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St. in Fairmont. The funeral service will be celebrated at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Jim Solomon presiding. The interment will follow in the Grandview Memorial Gardens in Fairmont. A dinner celebrating Robert's life will be held following the committal service at Galilean Baptist Church.
