Richard F. Eakle, 67, of Worthington, WV passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at his residence. He was born on November 24, 1952 in Clarksburg to the late Ferrel Leon Eakle and Olive Devere Burns.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathy Eakle who he married on January 11, 1983; daughters, Misty Harkey and her husband Dwayne of Mt. Pleasant, North Carolina and Kristy Drye and her husband Donnie of Concord, North Carolina; brother, Robert Eakle of Worthington, WV; sisters, Eva O'Dell of Hutichson, WV, Neva Cotteral of Enterprise and Ruth (Nicki) Gregory of Worthington, WV; grandchildren Christopher, Alexis, Autumn and Jaden.

Along with his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Eakle of Mannington, WV; sisters, Janey Eakle and Patty Mackey both of Shinnston, WV.

Richard was employed at the Dairy Mart for 14 years and was a fabulous cook at Casey's Restaurant for 32 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, mowing grass, growing a garden and loved plants. Richard loved helping people and cherished his children and grandchildren.

A private visitation was held for the immediate family due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
