Shelle and Amanda,
I was so shocked and devastated to learn of your mother’s passing. We have been friends for many years and I will miss her. She was my hair dresser for a long time and we always enjoyed sharing family news with each other. We joined Beta Sigma Phi at the same time and we both had dear husbands who were in ill health. We didn’t see each other often but we always enjoyed catching up. The last time I remember seeing her was at the new restaurant on Mary Lou Retton Drive. She had taken her grandchildren there for lunch. Of course we had to catch up.
I know you miss her and you always will as well as your dad. You were blessed with loving parents who
... set high standards and expectations of you and helped you to achieve those goals. I hope you cherish those special family memories and hold them close in your heart. I’m so sorry I can not be there today as I am out of town. But I can’t seem to get you girls off my mind. When my husband passed away I would often listen to a beautiful song by Laura Story called Blessings. You can find it on u-tube. I hope it brings you some sort of comfort. I’ve been praying for you. May our Heavenly Father surround you with his love and give you the strength you need and give you the peace only He can provide. Love and prayers,
Sue Berry
