Nola Carolyn Robey, 81 of Pine Bluff Road went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 23, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born February 4, 1941 in Fairmont, the daughter of Samuel Earl and Mary Jo (Jenkins) Vincent.
She is survived by one sister, Ruby Jean Vincent of Pine Bluff Road; husband, Wellman (Terry) Robey of Pine Bluff Road; daughter Courtney (Scott) Bias of Fayetteville; three grandchildren, Seth, Della and Gabriel Bias also of Fayetteville; sister-in-law Sandra Vincent of Shinnston, sister-in-law Anna Vincent of Fairmont and several beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Kenneth and Bob Vincent; sisters Delores and Aleda Vincent and an infant daughter Jennifer Teri Robey.
Nola retired from Westinghouse Philips Lighting in Fairmont with 40 years of service and was a 1959 graduate of East Fairmont High School. She was a Methodist by faith and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Shinnston.
She was an avid gardener and her free time was devoted to her three grandchildren, her pride and joy and source of endless stories and laughter.
At her request, Nola chose to donate her body to the Human Gift Registry at West Virginia University and no memorial service is planned. A celebration of Nola's life is planned for a later time.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to WVU Medicine Hospice and Visiting Angels for their kindness and support during Nola's last days at home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Nola's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
