So sorry for your loss. Nellie was an inspiration to all. I remember the Sundays at church, she would sit with he Barrackville senior ladies. Patrick and his family generally sat in front of them. Nellie would slip a couple dollars to our grandsons Peyton and Dylan for them to put in the collection plate. She always got a smile and a thank you. She was one in a million. Peace be with you....Lots of good memories

Nellie was truly a character. She was one of the first people that I met when I came to Barrackville over twenty-five years ago. Her spirit lives on in her children and grandchildren. We’re sending healing prayers.

Rick, Odessa and the entire family,
My deepest, heartfelt condolences to you all. A memory I have of Nellie is, Odessa taking us girls from work up to the camp, probably early 80's, and there was this big rock or stone there. It had something to do with getting married, like you made a wish on it or something like that. She was a true believer that it worked, and I believed it too. She will be missed!
