Mildred Ellen Stalnaker
Mildred Ellen "Millie" Stalnaker, 87, of Fairmont, passed away on November 18, 2019, at CHI Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was born on December 31, 1931, in Marion County, a daughter of the late Lionel and Gladys (White) McDougal.

After graduating Farmington High School, Millie went on to work at Westinghouse/North American Philips as a Relief Operator, with over 30 years of service. She will be remembered for loving to make people laugh and being the life of the party. She loved buying gifts for her family, friends, and neighbors from the HSN and QVC, and was incredibly charitable, giving to anyone who asked. She was a devout Christian and a lifelong member of Downs United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her loving son, Stephen Andrew Yearsovich and wife Ann (whom she called her own daughter), of Tennessee; brothers, James McDougal and Richard McDougal, both of Rachel; sisters, Mary Fletcher, of Rachel, and Shirley Leasure, of Fairmont; grandchildren, Luca Yearsovich and Mariah Yearsovich-Lavoisier, both of Georgia; and great-grandchildren, Alexander Lavoisier and Nora Lee Yearsovich.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Stalnaker; and sister, Margie Earl.

In keeping with her wishes, Millie was cremated, and a private inurnment will take place at WV National Cemetery in Pruntytown.

She was a dear friend to our Mother , Dad and all of our family. She was generous and kind, always had us laughing. Sure miss her and Daryl. Our deepest sympathy for all.

My thoughts are with the family. My Mom, Iris Cook Toothman, spoke of your Mom a lot. They were friends and attended Farmington High School together. My Mom passed away in 2017.🙏
