Farmington, WV - Michael Joseph Roscoe, 79, of Farmington, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025, at St. Barbara's Memorial Nursing Home in Monongah. He was born in Fairmont, March 2, 1946, a son of the late Big John and Mary Catherine King Roscoe. On February 21, 1963, he married Dorothy Tomana Roscoe, who preceded him in death on March 9, 2013.
Surviving are four children: Maria K. Larry and her husband Stephen, Michael John Roscoe and his wife Amy, Alice Ann Roscoe, Antonio "Tony" James Roscoe and his wife Angela; eight grandchildren: Mary Kathleen Roscoe, Hannah Nuzum and her husband Cameron, Olivia Rogers and her husband Mark, Isaac Roscoe, Emma Larry, Anthony Roscoe and his wife Jenna, Sarah Roscoe, Ava Roscoe; two great grandchildren, Ella Stoller and Braxton Roscoe; his siblings, Johnny Bob Roscoe and Betsy Handley and her husband Don; brother-in-law, John Tomana; sister-in-law, LaDonna Tomana; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family that were very special to him; and his loyal dog, Grae. Michael was also preceded in death by a brother, Don Roscoe and his wife Myrna, and sister-in-law, Sandra Roscoe.
Michael began his career at the age of 15 as a carpet installer for Manchin Carpet. He later became part owner of Wholesale Carpet, now WCO Flooring, for many years. His passion was for antique cars, and he was a member of the Car Crafters Club in Farmington. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and loved helping people. No one ever had a bad word to say about Mike Roscoe.

The family will receive friends at the Hutson Funeral Home, 3171 Husky Highway, Farmington, from 1-8pm, Friday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, May 3, at 11am, with Don Jersey officiating. Interment will be in the Farmington I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
