Mary Alice Lake McIntire, 76, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019 with her family by her side.

The daughter of the late Henry and Angie Lake, she was born April 29, 1943 in Clarksburg.

Mary was a retired school teacher and worked for the Monongalia County Board of Education. She was a dedicated teacher and loved all her students. Mary also tutored students and would help them with anything they needed. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Mary is survived by her son, David Glen McIntire; a daughter, Sadie Kay McIntire; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Glen McIntire; her siblings: Anna Lee Matheny, Robert Lake, Richard Lake, Eddie Ray Lake, and her twin brother, Larry Allan Lake.

Family will receive friends at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, on Wednesday from 3pm to 7pm and again Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 10am until the 11am funeral service. Burial will follow at Shinnston Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Harry Holbert, Jr. officiating the grave side service.
