Marjorie Lou Phillips
Marjorie Lou Phillips, passed away October 8, 2019 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. Marge was born March 12, 1930 in Mannington the daughter of the late Kenneth H. Phillips and Regina Wegman Phillips. She resided in the home that she grew up in in Mannington for 87 years before moving to Fairmont two years ago. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Preceding her in death were her sisters, Charlotte Ann Yoho, Mary Regina Boyle, an infant sister at birth, and her two brothers Thomas Phillips and Robert Phillips.

She is survived by several of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Marge was a life-long member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Mannington.

She loved photography, travel, and was a hot air balloon enthusiast.

Marge had worked at First Exchange Bank, was a courier for Chas. Phillips Tool Company in Mannington, was the former Mannington correspondent for the Times-West Virginian newspaper, and worked as a sales clerk for Hallmark Cards at the Middletown Mall.

Friends may call at the Hutson Funeral Home, 500 E. Main St., Mannington, on Friday October 11 from 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Mannington with the Rev. Father Jojan Joseph as celebrant. Interment will be in the Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery. Condolences may be accessed at
