Marie Arlene Dabate McVicker, 70, passed away of natural causes on March 13, 2023 at Fairmont Medical Center. Marie was born in Fairmont on November 26, 1952 to the late Michael D. Dabate and Tresa M. Panella Gerba, both of Fairmont.

Marie enjoyed a full life with her loving family, her cats, her co-workers from Hartley's, Hess's, Bon-Ton, and the Mountaineer Mart, from where she retired. She will be remembered for her delicious treats, like baby pepperoni rolls, her crocheted gifts, her infectious laugh, her smile, and her love of family and friends.

Marie is survived by her loving partner of more than 20 years, Dewayne Spiker; her stepmother, Betty Roy of Rivesville, her children, Lisa M. Miller (Jay) of Parkersburg, WV and Lawrence McVicker II (Kelly) of Hazelton, WV. She also leaves behind her three siblings, Michael J. Dabate(Ossie Kline), Rose M. Walters (Kenneth), and Candy Cain (Rick). She will be missed by her grandchildren, Gage McVicker (Jamie), Chase Banker (Sydney Woody) and her twin great granddaughters, Emma and Izzabella McVicker, along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private. Friends and relatives are invited to share in a celebration of her life on March 23, 2023 at Copper House Grill, 1155 Airport Road, Pleasant Valley, WV from 4-8 pm, lower level.
