Fairmont, WV - Lisa Fay Musgrove Treadway, 64, transitioned peacefully at her father's home, surrounded by her beloved husband, father, and sister, at 2:00 p.m. on May 16, 2026, following a sudden, courageous battle with cancer.

Lisa is survived by her husband of 35 years, Timothy Treadway; father, Samuel Ray Musgrove; sister, Debra Kay Hetrick; brother-in-law, Arlie Edward Hetrick; niece, Kaelin Rae Hetrick; aunts, Mary Bell and Marilin Rush; several cousins; and her beloved cat, Ozzy.

She was born in Fairmont, WV, on May 30, 1961, the daughter of Samuel Ray and the late Velda Neel Musgrove.

She was preceded in death by her newborn daughter, Amy Jo Treadway; mother, Velda Neel Musgrove; brother, Steven Ray Musgrove; grandparents, Samuel Musgrove Sr., Cecil (Opal) Stansberry, and Victor (Myrtle) Neel; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

After attending East Fairmont High School, Lisa worked for many years in retail as the manager of a shoe store and later as a waitress at DJ's Diner. She also worked as a caregiver for the elderly and was always helping people whenever she could.

A lifelong lover of animals, Lisa cherished the many cats and dogs she cared for over the years. She enjoyed her "porch time" visiting with friends and neighbors, as well as feeding the hummingbirds and watching the deer and turkeys that wandered through her yard.

Lisa loved family vacations, concerts, bluegrass festivals, camping, and motorcycle riding with Tim. She loved NASCAR and was an avid WVU fan who proudly dressed in gold and blue for every game. She was a wonderful cook who recently prepared Easter dinner for her family.

In her final days, Lisa found comfort in the thought of finally getting to know her daughter, Amy Jo, as well as reuniting in Heaven with her mother and brother, whom she missed dearly.

Lisa will be cremated and later placed with her daughter at Mt. Zion Cemetery. K.P. Musgrove will officiate a memorial service to be held at a later date.
