Lillian Naomi Booth, 98, of Mannington, passed away on January 5, 2024 in Orange Park, Florida. She was born November 12, 1925 at Flat Run, a daughter of the late Denzil and Amanda Simpson Efaw.
She was retired from the Marion County Board of Education after 32 years as a custodian at Wilson Elementary School and North Marion High School.
She was a life long member of Union Valley Baptist Church.
She was married March 25, 1944 to the late Nathan Eugene Booth. They had two daughters, the late Lorrain Lake of Mannington and Ann (Robert) Hinzman of Orange Park, Florida. She is survived by four grandchildren: Mary Francis (Dave) Moore, Vanessa Snodgrass (deceased), Dustin Hinzman, and Amanda (Adam) Shorr; seven great grandchildren, and two great-great grand children.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by three brothers: Roy Donald Efaw, Jerry (Esther) Efaw, and Wayne (Esther) Efaw; three sisters: Margery Moore, DeEtta (Wesley) Toothman, and Louise (Blaine) Price.
She was a loving mother who enjoyed quilting and basketweaving.
Services will be held at a later date at Masters Funeral Home in Mannington.
