Fairmont, WV - Judith (Judy) C. Woychic, 79, of Fairmont, passed away August 24, 2025 at Morgantown Healthcare Center after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born March 1, 1946 in Fairmont, a daughter of the late Dan and Dorothea Stone.

She is survived by her daughter Kelly (Rob) Anderson of Vienna, WV; son JD Woychic of Fairmont; granddaughters Shelby and Abby Anderson also of Vienna, WV; brother Randy (Trish) Stone of Wittmann, AZ; several nieces and nephews; and her two best friends since high school, Peggy Nuzum, and Patti Wise, both of Fairmont.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Woychic; brother, Daniel A. Stone; and sister Cinda L. Stone. She is also reunited with her beloved dog, Princess.

Judy was a 1964 graduate of East Fairmont High School. After graduating, she worked at Westinghouse until she met and married her husband John, when she became a dedicated wife and mother. Judy loved listening to Elvis and the Beatles; watching NASCAR, WVU football, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and reruns of The Waltons. She never met a pizza that she didn't like, especially if it came from Colasessano's. Prior to her illness, Judy enjoyed reading; drafting house plans; and redecorating the house. Corvettes were her favorite car, and she was lucky enough to own two during her lifetime. Above all else, she loved her family. Her granddaughters were her pride and joy, and she looked forward to spending time with them baking, sewing costumes, making paper dolls, and hearing about their latest adventures.

Following her wishes, Judy will be cremated with a private graveside memorial service to be held for close family and friends later in the year on a date to be determined.
