John Paul Martin, 47, of Mannington, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2020. He was born on September 7, 1973, in Fairmont, the son of Gary Cecil Martin and Frances Gay Martin.
John enjoyed the great outdoors and was a fishing and hunting enthusiast. He also enjoyed fixing automobiles.
In addition to his parents, John is survived by his beloved Angela; sons, Gavin Paul Martin of Charlotte, North Carolina (and wife Kaitlyn), Torin Blake Martin and Trent Brady Martin; sister, Melissa Keefover; nieces, Ashley Keefover and Loren Keefover; nephew, Phillip N. Keefover; and several surviving aunts, uncles and cousins.
John was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Anna and Cecil Martin; his maternal grandparents, Edith and John Simon; his uncle, Johnny Paul Martin; and his aunt, Shirley Simon.
John was loved and will be missed by many. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
