Fairmont, WV - Jesse "Bing" Firman Tucker, 92, of Fairmont passed away on Wednesday November 12, 2025, at the VA Nursing Home in Clarksburg, WV. He was born in Fairmont, WV on June 11, 1933, the son of the late Samuel Glenn and Mary Anna (Wyer) Tucker, Sr.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Martha Dee (Hurley) Tucker. He was a 1952 graduate of East Fairmont High School. Jesse served and was honorably discharged from the United States Army. He retired from Owens Illinois after 30 years of service and also retired from the Marion County Board of Education.

He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas "Tom" and Mikyong Tucker of Fairmont and Robert "Bob" and Sharon Linn-Tucker of Fairmont. One daughter-in-law Renee Tucker of Point Marion, PA. Five grandchildren, Laura and husband Tyler Milton, Sarah and husband Ernie Meadows, Michael Tucker, Molly Tucker and Nate Brown. Two great grandchildren Abigail Tucker and Jaxson Milton.

In addition to his parents Jesse was preceded in death by his son Timothy "Tim" Tucker, granddaughter Michelle Tucker, brothers and sisters-in-law Samuel Glenn and Jeness Tucker, Jr., Donald and Rella Tucker, two sisters and brother-in-law Mabel "Emmajane" and Milton Marks and Joanne Miller.

In keeping with Jesse's wishes he will be cremated and interred at the West Virginia National Cemetery at a later date. Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home was honored to assist the Tucker family at this time.
