Howard LeRoy Miller, Jr. Obituary

Myrtle Beach, SC - Howard LeRoy Miller, Jr., 71, of Carolina Forrest Community of Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of Fairmont, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 1, 2025 at the Embrace Hospice Home in Myrtle Beach, SC. He was born December 19, 1953 in Pittsburgh, PA, a son of the lathe Howard L. and Viola M. Shields Miller. He is survived by his loving wife, Diana Linn Mercer Miller.

Howard was a proud 1972 graduate of East Fairmont High School and attended Fairmont State College. He worked as a measurement and communication technician with Dominion Transmission, until his retirement. Howard loved and lived life to the fullest with his wife and family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Matthew Miller and his fiancé Sheena Rote of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Adam Jarrod Miller of Fairmont, granddaughter, Reagan Miller of Myrtle Beach, SC, and two sisters, Susan Trabucco and her husband John of Murrysville, PA, and Holly Miller of Morgantown, WV.

Memorial contributions may be made in Howard's memory to the Marion County Humane Society, 2731 Locust Ave, Fairmont, WV 26554.

The family has entrusted the arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont. All services are private.
