Fairmont, WV - Francine Roxanna Cikovich, 54, daughter of the late Milan W. Cikovich (Chick) and Maxine Hennen Cikovich, passed away on March 27, 2026, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
Born on May 21, 1971, Francine was a graduate of Fairmont Senior High School and went on to follow her passion for cooking at the Pittsburgh Institute of Culinary Arts. Although her struggles with schizophrenia limited her ability to pursue a long-term career, she had a true love and talent for cooking that brought joy to those around her.
Francine was a kind, soft-spoken, and generous soul who brought warmth and laughter to those around her. She loved spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and especially cherished trips to the beach. She had a special place in her heart for animals, particularly cats.
She is survived by her brother, Milan W. Cikovich Jr. (Rocky) and his wife Susan; her sister, Christine M. Park and her fiancé Michael J. Beaudry; her nephews, Tyler J. Park and Alec M. Moyer; her niece, McKenzie N. Moyer; and her cousin, Joseph F. Muto (Giuseppe) and his fiancée, Michelle Bowers. She is also survived by her step-nieces and nephews, Bob and Staci Conrad and their son, Scott and his wife, Brittani, and Shelly and Shane Snider and their daughter, Molly.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Milan W. ~ Cikovich (Chick); her mother, Maxine Hennen Cikovich; her aunt, Imogene Hennen Muto; and her uncle, Billie F. Muto.
Francine's family takes comfort in knowing she is now at rest, surrounded by love.
Friends and family may call at the Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant Street, Fairmont, West Virginia, on April 2, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on April 3, 2026, from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jim Zinn officiating. Interment will follow at the Grandview Memorial Gardens.
