Morgantown, WV - Donna Sickles Schmitt, 67, of Morgantown, peacefully passed away in her home on Sunday, May 25, 2025. She was born on January 12, 1958, a daughter to Jim and Doris Sickles. She graduated from East Fairmont High School where she was a Honeybee for the Busy Bee Marching Band.

Donna Attended WVU, where she majored in Drama and Theater. She was a big WVU and Pittsburg Steeler Fan. She spent most of her adult life in western Pennsylvania where she was a model for The Model Management Company of Pittsburg, PA. Donna was also a consultant for Clinique selling make up.

She was preceded in death by her mother Doris Sickles, and her father Jimmy Sickles. She is survived by her son Justin and C.C. Schmitt of Los Angeles, CA. Who she loved with all her heart. Along with her sister, Debbie Sickles King and her husband Joe, sister Denise Sickles McCormley and her husband Jim of Fairmont, and Edward Allen Sickles of Virginia Beach.

Also, left to cherish her memory, she left behind her close friends Amy Bacorn and Virginia Cutright who did her shopping and ran errands for her. A very special friend, Mark Alby, who was her caretaker and was always there for her and will miss Donna always.

Also left to mourn Donna, several nieces and nephews. Donna has chosen cremation with no viewing. A special thanks to Ford Funeral Home for their service and kindness during these trying times.
