Woodsfield, Ohio - Daniel James Funovitz, 59 of Woodsfield, Ohio formerly of Worthington, WV., passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Arbors at Woodsfield Nursing Home, He was born April 18, 1965 in Beaver, PA. son of the late Albert and Betty Farance.

Daniel was a proud veteran of the US Army where he served in the Military Police. He enjoyed working at rebuilding vehicles especially Jeeps. Daniel liked being in the woods, hunting and playing with his dogs. He loved the time he spent with his friends, children and grandchildren.

Daniel is survived by two sons, Daniel James Funovitz, ll (Brianna) OK., and Andrew Funovitz, Morgantown, two grandchildren, Austin Funovitz and Karlee Funovitz.

Family and friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave., Grafton, WV on Monday, October 14, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM the hour of the funeral with Pastor Jimmy Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at the West Virginia National Cemetery with full military honors accorded by the WV Army Camp Dawson Honor Guard, and the Taylor County Honor Guard.
