Charleston, WV - Charles Gary Linn Little died Sunday, January 4, 2026. He was born June 22, 1941 in Fairmont, West Virginia, the son of Charles Malcolm Little and Cecile Forrest Janes Little.

He graduated in 1960 from Fairmont Senior High School, and served in the 6910th Radio Group of the US Air Force. He worked for Monongahela Power in Haywood, Martinka Mine in Fairmont, and West Virginia University where he retired in 2015. He was a West Virginia University season ticket holder in football for over 50 years and basketball for over 30 years. He was a member of Janes Memorial Methodist Church, and was head of the Janes Memorial Cemetery Fund.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, four sisters (Rosemary Sies, Helen Kline, Shirley Jo Little, and Marjorie Rotunna), and his wife of 55 years, Alice June Saunders Little.

He is survived by a daughter, Laura Janes Little and husband Raymond "Kim" DiPino, son Charles M. Little, granddaughter, Megan Little Payne and husband Austin Payne, grandson Ryan James Little, and great grandson Dawson Charles Payne.

The family will receive friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until 10: 00 a.m. The service will be at the Mosaic Church (formerly Janes Memorial Church), 6500 Beverly Pike Road in Fairmont, on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dr. Michael Richards officiating. Interment will follow at Janes Memorial Cemetery. The family is asking that donations be made to the Janes Memorial Cemetery Fund in lieu of flowers.
