Fairmont, WV - Carolyn "Sue" Urbaniak of Fairmont, WV, entered heaven on May 20, 2025. She passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Sue was born in Fairmont on December 27, 1946, daughter of the late Julio Tutalo and Lucille Cain.

She was a graduate of East Fairmont High School, where she was forever proud of being honored as "Miss East Fairmont".

In addition, she also graduated from the Fairmont State University nursing program. Sue enjoyed a lengthy career as a registered nurse, primarily in the field of psychiatry.

Sue was a kind, gentle soul and life-long follower of Jesus, as evidence by her strong, Catholic faith.

She took the greatest pleasure with the simple things in life. Her most cherished moments were at family gatherings, sipping on a glass of chilled, white wine, while listening to country music.

Sue leavers behind a devoted husband of 59 years, Stanley "John" Urbaniak, Stephen Urbaniak (son) and Heather White, Tina Moroose (daughter) and husband Steve, Shelly Snider (daughter) and husband David.

Sue was also "Nana" to six wonderful grandchildren: Olivia Robey and husband Chase, Nicky Moroose, Sam Urbaniak, Christoper McLaughlin, J McLaughlin, and Gracie Snider.

A Catholic funeral Mass to celebrate Sue's life will be held on June 21, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 329 Maryland Avenue, Fairmont, WV.
