Fairmont, WV - Carolyn Sue Nuzum, 82, of Fairmont West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at her residence. She was born on November 23, 1942, a daughter of the late James and Rose (Butler) Sindledecker.

Carolyn operated a chocolate business with her husband called The Chocolate Temptations. She also was a part of several different types of careers. She enjoyed working with her flowers and selling different items, including antiques on Ebay.

Left to cherish her memory are three sons, Brooks Edward (Belinda) Nuzum III, Bradley Evan (Kristal) Nuzum, and Brian Everett (Ruthann) Nuzum; one brother, Jack Sindledecker; three sisters, Linda Sindledecker Simon, Mary Sindledecker Long, and Debbie Dicken- Hart; fourteen grandchildren, Louie (Abby) Mabin, Nikki (George) Yanchak, Blair Nuzum, Andrew (Savannah) Nuzum, Kaitlyn (Nathan) Gerau, Nick Nuzum, Nate Nuzum, Landon Nuzum, Owen Nuzum, Locklyn Nuzum, Jacob Nuzum, Cody Nuzum, Wyatt Nuzum, and Garrett Nuzum; and three great grandchildren, Knox Yanchak, Harper Mabin, and Cameron Mabin.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Brooks Edward Nuzum Jr; her parents; her granddaughter, Brooklyn Nuzum; her brother, James Sindledecker; and her sister, Rosalie Sindledecker.

In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated.
