Bradford "Brad" M. Barnett, 67, of Fairmont, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.

He was born April 29, 1956 in Clarksburg, WV, son of Sam and Mary McInnes of Enterprise, WV. Brad graduated from Shinnston High School Class of 75.

After school, he went on to work for Frontier Communications for forty-two years before retirement. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #31 in Mannington, WV.

Brad loved spending his time with the ones close to him. He enjoyed sitting on the couch watching tv and having his nightly snack. He truly was the life of any get-together. He could make anyone smile or laugh with his quick wit.

In addition to his wife of forty years, Jonna Pritchard Barnett, he is also survived by his son Travis and his fiancé Ashley McKee; parents; sister Terrie Marie of Enterprise; aunts Rita Goodwin of Colorado, Carol Murphy of Ripley, Sheila McDaniel of Bridgeport; uncle Bill Blake and wife Roberta of Flemington; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Beth and Rick Brooks, brother-in-law Henry Moore; and nieces Allison and Rachel Moore.

Brad is preceded in death by his daughter April Nicole; brother John Allen; sister-in-law Jane Moore; aunts Jean Riffle, Charlene Snodgrass, Peggy Jenkins; grandparents Evelyn and Bernard Blake; and brother-in-law Charles.

The family would also like to thank Hospice for their kindness and support, especially Courtney McKnight and Angela Thobois. In addition, the family would like to thank all the families and friends who have supported Brad throughout his illness.

Friends will be received at Harmer Funeral Home on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 11:00AM-2:00PM. A funeral service will directly follow at 2:00PM. Interment will take place at Enterprise Cemetery.
