Fairmont, WV - Betty Jean Finamore, age 69 of Fairmont, WV, passed away on August 9, 2025. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend whose warmth touched everyone that she knew. She was born on June 9, 1956, the daughter of the late Clarence Harding and Locie Arlene (Morris) Robinson.

She was known for her deep love of nature and animals. She also had a passion for gardening and loved to tend to her vegetable and flower gardens. Her compassion extended to every creature she encountered, especially her cats that she rescued, who were her constant companions. She took joy in feeding the deer, birds and squirrels that visited her home, finding peace and happiness in these simple acts of care.

Her family remembers her as a gentle soul with a strong work ethic, a generous heart, and a steadfast devotion to those she loved. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and unconditional love that will be felt for generations.

Betty is survived by her former husband, Dennis Finamore, Sr., who helped care for her in recent years; one son, Dennis Finamore Jr.; two daughters, Angela Marie Holmes and husband Brian, Lisa Ann Blackwell and her husband Duane; her treasured grandchildren, Kayla Parsons and her husband Austin, Hope Blackwell, and Bentley Holmes; and her brother Carson Robinson; and her lifelong best friend Charlene Rager.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Harding Robinson and Locie Arlene Robinson.
