Betty Lee Crow, age 85, of Laurel Point, passed away Friday (Oct. 28, 2016) at Monongalia General Hospital, while holding her husband's hand and telling him she loved him.
Betty was born March 19, 1931, in National, a daughter of the late Richard Lee and Ella Powers.
Betty spent most of her life as a homemaker. She enjoyed working with her husband Bradley on their farm, driving her tractor and deer hunting in the fall.
She loved country music and going to the various shows with her husband, and one of her proudest moments was seeing her husband inducted into the West Virginia Country Music Hall of Fame. She was also a Methodist by faith.
Betty is survived by her husband of 44 years, Bradley R. Crow; two daughters, Patty Eastone and husband Mike of Hurricane and Joetta Burgess and husband Joe of Morgantown; four brothers, Clifford Powers, Richard Powers, Bernard Powers and Bob Powers; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and her loving canine companion, "B B."
Betty was preceded in death by two sisters, Edith Fowler and Evelyn Morgan.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral service Monday at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Morgantown, with Pastor Rex Musgrove officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery.
