Betty C. Craig, 75, of Barrackville, passed away Wednesday October 2,2019 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
She was born on March 27, 1944 in Randolph County, WV, a daughter of the late Arey Clarence Hammonds and Mamie Virginia Pritt.
Betty is survived by her daughters Judy Parsons and her husband Dana of Enterprise, Patricia Burrows and her husband Keith of Barrackville, and her son Gregory " Smoke " Craig of Fairmont; Grandchildren Ktryna Eddy and her husband Tab, Kyle Craig, Josh Burrows, Joey Craig and Ryan Craig; 5 great grandchildren Jayden Kincaid, Tabitha Eddy, Kaydence Eddy, Jaicee Burrows and Joleah Burrows, also surviving are her sisters Mary Cool, Cleo Hamrick and Juanita Tackett.
Betty enjoyed crocheting and quilting. Her grandchildren were the love of her life, and always kept her going.
In addition to her parents, Betty was proceeded in death by her husband Claude Craig on May 2, 1975, and her two brothers, Charles Hammonds and Cletis Hammonds.
Friends will be received at the Harmer Funeral Home 300 Pike Street Shinnston on Sunday October 6, 2019 from 2-8 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Rex Musgrove presiding. Interment will follow at the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Mt. Morris, PA.
