Anthony Warash, 64, of Hillsborough, NC went to be with his late parents Tony and Teresa Ann Oliverio Warash on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 with his family by his side. He was born in Fairmont, WV on October 26, 1960.

Anthony worked at Chandler Concrete for 38 years and was a dedicated employee. He started as a truck driver and then moved up to sales and management. He was a member of the Monongah Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed working outside and was a perfectionist when it came to his yard. He also enjoyed driving his 1968 Camaro. He was Catholic by faith.

Anthony is survived by his wife Candace Jill Boyce Warash, one son John Andrew Warash and fiance Cassie Linquist of Durham, NC. He is also survived by his sister Connie Jean Warash of Monongah, and his mother-in-law Wilma (George) Hershman of Grafton.

He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Sherry (Jason) Matthews, Christina (Doug) Flohr, brothers-in-law Greg (Jenny) Boyce, Mark (Lori) Boyce all of Grafton, WV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He had a special relationship with his niece Rhianna Kelsey Flohr-Thompson of Williamsburg, Virginia and a special cousin DeEtta (Michael) Arcure of Fairmont, and best friend Richard Basagic of Fairmont. Anthony had a special friendship with the Chandler family and Jamie Nelms. The family would like to give a special thank you to his dear friend Phyllis Wood who helped with his care during his final days with us.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandparents John and Costanza Oliverio, Giuseppe and Angeline (Guarascio) Warash, and father-in-law David Blake Boyce.

Friends may call at Ross Funeral Home 801 Fairmont Avenue Fairmont on Thursday from 1-8:00 p.m. and Friday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Friday January 31, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Deacon David Lester officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Shinnston Memorial Cemetery in Shinnston, WV.
