Wilson was a part of the "greatest generation." Serving in the U.S. Navy, he was a member of the Amphibious Forces during World War II. He was a man of incredible strength, character and faith. He could often be seen walking from his home on West Side to McDonalds to enjoy coffee and conversation. He made friends with the wonderful employees of Cracker Barrel, McDonalds and the Rivesville 7-Eleven.
Thank you all for being so good to him. His life was full of adventure, archery, hunting, gardening, studying and hiking.
