William Jerry "Bill" Stewart III, 77, of Fairmont, passed into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior on March 1, 2017.
Bill was born on Nov. 7, 1939, to the late William J. Stewart Sr. and Gertrude Marie Nestor Stewart.
Bill was an auto mechanic by trade working for Ash's Sunoco for a number of years. Bill enjoyed camping and fishing, was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Stewart is survived by his daughter, Misty Marie and her husband Mike Tate; also Carolyn Stewart, the mother of his children, all of Fairmont; three sisters, Delores Romano, Barbara Straight and Mary McCoy; eight grandchildren, Rochelle Lynn, Craig Mathew, Caitlin Marie, Christopher William, William Jerry V, Lucas Ray, Eli Bradley and Gunner James; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Bill was preceded in death by both of his sons, William Jerry Stewart IV and Bradley Allen Stewart; his brothers, Roy Lee and Earl Robert Stewart; brothers-in-law, Arlos McCoy, John Romano and Ed Straight; sisters-in-law, Louise and Carol Stewart.
Friends and family may call from 6-8 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday at the Frey Home For Funerals (Addition Chapel A), 320 Madison St., Fairmont. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Clermont Cemetery.
