William P. Boyle III, 66, of Bellefontaine passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017 in his home.
He was born in White Oak, PA on December 18, 1950, the son of the late William P. II and Alice (Vetterly) Boyle.
He is survived by his wife, Deb (Watkins) Boyle of Bellefontaine, son, Patrick Boyle of Oxford, OH, step son, Aric (Brandy) Stover of Zanesfield, step daughter, Jennifer Gossett of Blue Ash, step grandchildren; Bailee, Alivia, Makayla, Maria, a brother, Robert (Diana) Boyle of Fairmont, WV, sister-in-laws; Susan (Marc) Ahmay of Prospect, Krista (Tim) Sullivan of Marion, Judi Anderson of Prospect, brother-in-law, Thomas (Julie) Watkins of Hessell, MI and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
William was a 1968 graduate of McKeesport High School in Pennsylvania and graduated from Kent State in 1975. He worked for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and retired in 2005 after 23 years of service. He enjoyed playing and watching volleyball. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bellefontaine. He was an avid fan of Pittsburg sports including the Steelers, Pirates, and the Penguins.
Father Kenneth Baker will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick Catholic Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Bellefontaine.
