Thomas Paul Delimpo, 73, of Fairmont, died Tuesday (April 12, 2016) at the Pierpont Center.
He was born on March 29, 1943, in Fairmont, son of the late Nicola and Rose Ficheri Delimpo.
Tom was self-employed; he worked as an auto mechanic and also painted cars. He previously worked as a coal miner. He was Catholic by faith.
He is survived by his daughter, Gina Six of Farmington; his stepson, Scott Contraski of Grafton; and one grandson, Trevor Six. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Nick and Virginia Delimpo of Fairmont; and his mother-in-law, Billie Duda of Farmington.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Frank Delimpo.
Friends may call at 6 p.m. Monday at the Ross Funeral Home, 801 Fairmont Ave., Fairmont. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Charlie Fancher officiating.
