Sue Ann Strawderman, 65, of Fairmont, went to be with her Lord on Sunday (June 12, 2016) at Fairmont Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Clarksburg on June 29, 1950, a daughter of John Bordo of Fairmont and the late Frankie Craig Bordo.
Sue Ann worked for several years at Creative Label in Fairmont in the label-marking department. In addition, she was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She attended and was baptized, giving her life to Christ, at Vineyard Church in Wheeling.
She enjoyed camping with her children, taking care of her pets, and laying in the sun and swimming with her family.
Sue loved her family and was most happy spending time with her children and especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her son, Roddy Strawderman of Wheeling; her daughter, Kelly Nicholson and her husband Quint of Fairmont; two very special grandchildren, Gage Nicholson and Ava Baker-Strawderman; and many cousins and good friends.
All the cousins fondly referred to Sue as "Nanny Sue and Aunt Sue."
Friends and family may call from 1-8 p.m. Thursday at Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant St., Fairmont. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Barry Bullman officiating. In keeping with the wishes of the deceased, her body will be cremated following the funeral service.
