Shelba J. Bock, 75, of Jackson, Tennessee, passed away Saturday (Aug. 13, 2016).
She was born on Aug. 9, 1940. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Southside Church of Christ in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was a retired registered nurse.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Freda Kirby of Fairmont; her husband of 46 years, Franklin Bock of Fairmont; her sister, Charlotte Lacy of Fairmont; her son, Charles Bock, of Paris, Tennessee; and her daughter, Kathy Sternthal of Tar Heel, North Carolina.
She is survived by her daughter, Carla Peck and her husband Tom of McKenzie, Tennessee; her son, Thomas Bock and his wife Kristy of Bowling Green, Kentucky; her sister, Shirley Miller of Farmington; and her brother, William Kirby of Reidsville, North Carolina. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
