Share your thoughts and condolences with Ruby's family.

As Aunt Lou's only niece I'd like to add a few important details. She was raised by my Grandfather George C.Sproles who loved and supported her as his own,he gave her money to complete her dream to be a nurse!
She loved all three of her brothers Charles Hawkeyes,Richard Sproles and my Father George C. Sproles, whom she nursed during his illness in 2001.
My Aunt Lou was a great neighbor she exchanged meals with her friends on Marshall Street,Mannington and in return they helped her these last few years!
For anyone who knew her ,she disliked the name Ruby!
Thank you Aunt Lou for all the love! From your Baby's Baby!
Donna, so very sorry for your loss. Your mother taught you and Pete honesty and integrity. She was a kind, gentle, loving lady and I only wished I could have got to know her a little better. She raised two very honest children. She loved you so much. She has joined Pete in heaven now so rest easy. Love you, your friend Brenda Blue Corvette
Thank you all for the kindest comments about our Mother. She taught both Petes and I the values of honestly and loyalty. She was an extremely proud, Coal Miners daughter who touched the lives of many, and saved the lives of many. She never recovered following the sudden death of Pete, and joins him now in heaven. She taught Pete about integrity and honesty, and taught me she didn't bring a daughter into this world wearing a catchers mitt on both hands, to keep one hand free to throw back to opposition. Sincerely, Donna and Pete.
Sorry for your loss. Prayers for all.
So sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Donna and family so sorry for the loss of you mother,,,,sending prayers to all of you ,,,,,,
I have fond memories of growing up in our neighborhood with many of those involving the Ice household. I remember Lou as a kind lady who took great care of her family. As a young child, I was always impressed of the nurse in our neighborhood who stood out in her white uniform. We were all blessed with great Mom's back then, who took all of the kids in the neighborhood under their wing. We all grew up as a big happy family and she certainly was a big part in that. She will be missed by all.
Alan and Donna, So sorry to hear this, she was a great lady and neighbor. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
