Rose Lee Wells, 66, of Fairview, passed away Tuesday (May 17, 2016) at Fairmont Regional Medical Center.
She was born May 13, 1949, at Lake Glen, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Sherman Woodrow Mays and Frances Virginia Gibson Fincham.
Rose was a homemaker. She was also a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Gary (April) Williams of Dunkard Mill and Robert Lee (Janet) Fincham of Grafton; two grandchildren, Andrea Six and Raven Williams; three great-grandchildren, Adalhia Williams, Jackson Ridenour and Bentley Ridenour; a longtime boyfriend, Patrick Gorbey; siblings, Gladys Amons of Daybrook, Susie Mays of Fairview, Barbara Whitlatch of Monumental, Linda Sewinsky of Fairmont, Charles Robert Mays of Daybrook, James A. (Debra) Mays of Fairmont and Sherman Junior Mays of Fairmont; a brother-in-law, Dale Shriver of Fairview; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Hinerman; a brother, William "Billy" Mays; and a half-brother, Henry Gibson.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the Hutson Funeral Home in Farmington where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday with Evangelist Peter Ray Cole officiating. Interment will follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Farmington.
