Ronnie Price, 76, of Fairview, died Wednesday (May 11, 2016) at his residence.
He was born June 11, 1939, at Wadestown, a son of the late Clarence Price and Indiana Cross Price.
Mr. Price was a retired coal miner and former employee of the Blacksville No. 1 mine. He was a member of Grace Fellowship in Wana.
He was an active horseback rider. He was an active member and past president of the Daybrook Saddle Club. Ronnie loved fishing, coon hunting and riding horses with his granddaughters. He loved hanging out with friends and family. He was a great "BSer" who never met a stranger. He loved spending time with his grandson and spending quality time with his other grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife, Judith Price; two sons, Ronnie "Mitch" Price and Marty Price and Christina Trump, all of Fairview; two daughters, Marsha Skinner and husband Aaron and Merci Ruth, all of Fairview; one brother, Charles Price of Daybrook; one sister, Brenda Towns of Cassville; one half-sister, Freda Stiles of Wadestown; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Mark Price; one granddaughter, Kayla Price; three brothers, James Price, Jesse Price and Wesley Price; and one sister, Imogene Chisler.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, with Pastor Steve Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in Pappy's Cemetery near Wadestown.
