Robert "Bobby" A. Romino, 54, of Fairmont, passed away Wednesday (June 21, 2017) at his residence.
He was born in Fairmont on April 5, 1963, son of the late Leonard A. and Betty L. Smith Romino.
Bobby was well known around the city of Fairmont. He loved to attend football and basketball games at Fairmont Senior High School and Fairmont State University. He was raised in the Catholic faith and most recently was attending Mount Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sisters, Carol L. Bee of South Carolina, Josephine L. Hamrick of Charleston, Carolyn Janicki (Thomas) of Charleston and Patti Vasicek (Richard) of Fairmont; beloved aunt Mary Romino; and sisters in-law, Joyce Romino and Judy Bailey; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; dedicated friends, Laura Oliver and family, Doug and Donna Nuzum and sons Seth, Chad, Derek and Ryan Nuzum, Bud and Sharon Hager, David Retton, friends and neighbors.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Michael L. Romino and Leonard A. "Lennie" Romino II.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at Ross Funeral Home 801 Fairmont Avenue Fairmont. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Deacon David Lester Officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
