Phyllis Jean Less, 80, formerly of Fairmont, passed away Wednesday morning (June 15, 2016) in Transition Healthcare Assisted Living in Washington, Pennsylvania.
Phyllis was born in Fairview on July 25, 1935, a daughter of the late James Chester Michael and Mildred Margarite Tuttle.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert L. Kintyhtt and Junior Less.
Phyllis is survived by her two daughters, Debbie Erdie and her husband Jeff of Fairmont and Delina Less and her close friend Patty McCauley of Morgantown; her grandsons, Christopher Erdie and his wife Emily and Ryan Erdie and his wife Holli; six great-grandchildren, Colton, Brayson, Aiden, Peysen, Hadley and Taylen Erdie; one brother, Chester Michael and his wife Susan; her two sisters, Mildred Mae Kinty and Patricia Floyd and her husband Bill; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Mrs. Less was preceded in death by one sister, Diane Huffman; and a brother-in-law, Carl Kinty.
Mrs. Less was Protestant by faith and enjoyed watching cooking shows. She loved to spend time with her family.
The family will receive friends from 3-8 p.m. today and from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Tim Edin officiating. A committal service will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery & Mausoleum in Fairmont.
