Pauline L. Parrish, 94, of Idamay, died Saturday (May 27, 2017) at the Fazio's Personal Care Home in Monongah.
She was born March 22, 1923, in Pleasant Valley, a daughter of the late Burncy and Mary Ann Wood Brock.
Pauline was a homemaker who enjoyed fishing and camping with her family. She loved her time with family, especially delighting in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her three children, Barbara A. (Don) Mason, Idamay, Judy (Michael) Uram and Edward (Gilda) Parrish Jr., all of Fairmont; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Edward Parrish Sr.; a daughter, Mary Jo Parrish; three brothers, Delbert, Ralph and John Brock; and three sisters, Eva Banick, Ruth Hanley and Ola Baker.
The family would like to thank Cora Fazio and staff, as well as Amedisys Hospice, for their care and support.
Friends may call from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hutson Funeral Home in Farmington. where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor Charles Fancher officiating. Interment will be in the IOOF Cemetery at Farmington.
