Pamela Jean Hawkinberry, of Fairmont, passed away Monday (Aug. 14, 2017) at her home.
She was born in Marion County on July 18, 1954, a daughter of the late Eugene Franklin Boyce and Vonda Gay (Cottrill) Boyce.
Pam was a loving homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. She last worked as a home health aide for West Virginia Aging. Following her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She enjoyed going on the river and camping. She liked watching her grandchildren race their dirt bikes and four-wheelers.
She is survived by her son, Robert Hawkinberry and his wife Sara of Fairmont; four grandchildren, Bobbie Jean Hawkinberry, Kagin Nicole Hawkinberry, Zoey Brooke Hawkinberry and Hunter Allen Hawkinberry.
Also surviving are her brothers and sisters and their spouses, Eugene and Kim Boyce, Mike Boyce, Timothy and Carolyn Boyce, Judy Boyce, Rhonda and Stan Stine and Patty Miller, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hawkinberry.
Friends and family may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Edward Carpenter officiating Thursday at the Carpenter & Ford funeral Home, 209 Merchant St., Fairmont. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions may be made to the funeral home.
