Naomi June Miller, 72, of Four States, passed away Saturday (Oct. 29, 2016) at Ruby Memorial Hospital following a short illness.
She was born in Marion County on Jan. 8, 1944, a daughter of the late Herman Martin and Delphia Jones Martin.
Mrs. Miller was a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition, she had been employed in the laundry department of the Arbors at Fairmont Nursing Center for 10 years.
Naomi is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ronald Miller; two sons, Ron Miller and his wife Lilly of Fairmont and Joe Miller and his wife Kim of Four States; a daughter, Sandy Booth and her husband Ed of Virginia; her grandchildren, Samantha Young and her husband Bryce of Virginia, Sara Hylton and her husband Josh of Fairmont, Brooke Miller of Fairmont, Brittany Miller of Four States and Kaylee Miller of Four States; and her great-grandchildren, Hannah Grace Young, Owen James Hylton and Andrew Hylton.
Also surviving is her sister, Goldie Martin of Fairmont and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Naomi was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Jimmy Martin, Harold Martin, Becky Vincent, Betty Flint, Alice Martin and Leanda Martin.
Friends and family may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant Street, Fairmont. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Sabrina Haught officiating. Interment services will be private.
