Mary Margaret Hawkinberry Parrish Eddy, 76, of Fairview, passed away at her son's residence on Thursday (June 1, 2017).
She was born June 5, 1940, at No. 9, a daughter of Howard Pyles and the late Geraldine Hawkinberry Helm, and her stepfather, the late Richard Helm.
Mary was a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, slot games and golf carts. She was Christian by faith.
In addition to her father, Mary is survived by her husband, Jack Lorin Eddy Sr.; five children, Geraldine (Herbert Fletcher) Pope of Jakes Run, Leona (Phil) Syverson of Spencer, Ohio, Edward (Teresa) Baez Jr. of Daybrook, Sharon Dowdy of Florida and Pete Parrish of Fairmont; 23 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter on the way; and a brother, Charles Hawkinberry of Ohio.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a son, Floyd "Butch" Parrish Jr.
Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Hutson funeral Home in Farmington, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Reverend Freddy Eddy officiating.
Interment will follow at the IOOF Cemetery in Farmington.
