Marshall Wayne Brownlee, 81, of Sterling, Virginia, passed away Friday (July 1, 2017) at his residence.
Wayne was born in Monumental on Oct. 31, 1935, son of the late Loal Hetzler and Oda Michael Brownlee.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Vivian Russell Brownlee; a son, Michael; and daughter, Cathy Brownlee Hollendon of Winchester, Virginia; one granddaughter, Brittany Brownlee; three grandsons, Michael Brownlee, Mathew and Christopher Hollendon; two great-grandsons, Isaiah and Grayson; two brothers, Don (Jean) of Hamilton, Virginia and Gary (Judy) of Grant Town; two sisters, Zelma (Fred) Cameron of Springfield, Virginia and Ruth Ann (Dennis) Sirbaugh of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Wayne was pre-deceased by four sisters, Jacquelyn (Albert) Cantello, Juanita (Don) Darrah, Lois Jean Brownlee and Glenda (Joseph) Moore; and three brothers, Loal Jr, Clinton (Brigita) and Howard Paul (Carolyn).
Prior to retiring in 2013, Wayne was a plumber by trade and had worked for Peoples Drug Stores as a maintenance man and many years for Tom Warner Plumbing and lastly, owner/operator of Liberty Plumbing.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, Virginia 20170. Interment will follow at the Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Herndon, Virginia. Email condolences may be made at adamsgreen.com.
