Luana Sue Ansline, 67, of Good Hope Pike, Clarksburg, departed this life Sunday (Jan. 22, 2017) in her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 6, 1949, in Clarksburg, a daughter of the late Royal and Vivian Kellar Davis. On April 2, 1993, she married Louis Ansline who survives.
Also surviving are twin daughters, Jacquelyn Sue Maggart and husband Cory, and Jennifer Elaine Grandy and husband Kevin, both of Vero Beach, Florida; three sons, John Michael Ansline of Elwood City, Pennsylvania, Patrick Ansline and wife Kallen of Barrackville and Matthew Ansline and wife Ashly of West Milford; grandchildren, Sophia and Emma Maggart, Skyler Shaw, Seanna Grandy and Audrina Christian; one sister, Sandy Postlethwait of Clarksburg; three brothers, Randy Taylor and wife Jeanie, Big Battle, Dwight Davis and wife Gloria of Clarksburg, and Royal Bruce Davis and wife Bonnie of Big Battle; and several nieces and nephews. One nephew preceded her in death, Chuckie Postlethwait.
Mrs. Ansline retired from Finn Construction in accounting and payroll. She enjoyed reading, bowling and going to the beach. Her grandchildren were the love of her life and she enjoyed spending time with them and her loving family. Sue was a big sister, little sister to Shelby Beverly and was Baptist.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in the Harbert Funeral Home 287 W. Main St. Salem, with Pastor Robert Marino presiding. Interment will follow in the Center Point Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday until the time of the service in the funeral home chapel.
